Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Good deal

Good dealThe timing is actually good, IMO  Tomorrow will be a good day for LPs overall.  APH might drop a bit but consider what happened when they did $115M at below market in Decmember.

Dec 12 - closing price $15.15.  Announce a $115 M deal at $13.75 on Dec 13th.  Closes at 14.15 - down $1 or 6.6%.  December 29th Close $18.70 - up 24% from the pre-offering close. If it drops tomorrow - buy on the drop, but likely it will rise.  $225M investment at $11.85 is very healthy and the capital puts them in good position.

Anyone on here could have bought as much APH as they wanted for less than $11.85 less than one week ago.  True - it helps those clowns that shorted the large blocks yesterday and today (600K at a time) to close out their position, but that is the nature of our market.  They never could have floated this many shares with the low volume that the stock was trading over the past month, so I think the timing is good, and I will buy more it if drops.
