not all bad

not all badThere really are a lot of negative comments about NGD lately and it seems those that are bashing want to blame management for all the ills. My perception of the gold market is that fewer investors want to invest in it and thus the gold price languishes as do the stock prices. Mistakes were made at Rainy River, maybe they overpaid for the asset, maybe the engineering wasn't up to snuff, but when all is said and done, new mines cost billions to get into production and they take years to get running right. All mining companies face the same problems, diminishing resources that have to be replaced at much higher costs. Management will have to squeeze every nickel hard to have the money to go forward from here, shareholders don't want any more dilution and at less than 3 bucks, raising money for capital projects by selling more shares would be the last straw for shareholders.
