Keep Drillhole Data Confidential

Keep Drillhole Data ConfidentialThis experience in the DRC has changed my mind on drillhole transparency. In certain volatile jurisdictions it's best to keep information private whenever possible. Provided this conforms with Canadian NI 43-101 regulations, investors only need a summary to make informed decisions. Why draw a detailed map showing where everything is in painstaking detail? Geographical coordinates should be kept completely separate from split core at the shack. That way core can't be traced easily back to an exact physical location. It's like two keys for a safety deposit box. You need both the core and location to efficiently exploit the resource. This information should be kept off site, accessible by computer link, if you have security clearance. It wouldn't stop a determined hostile party from exploiting the resource. But at least you're not leaving the keys in the ignition, with doors unlocked. They would need to do substantial work before efficient operations would even be possible. I've criticized the Company in the past for not publishing thorough drill data. I take that back.
