RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:38 presidential musings by rumpie todayHankerchief you are so right, we two countries are so inextricably entwined. I'm from the Maritimes and you would find it hard to find a family around the south shore of Nova Scotia that didn't have relatives from aunts, uncles, and cousins by the score who come from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, in fact most of the northeast shore. Our trouble is we so often feel like the pimple on the elephants rear end, you squat and we get squashed. We are that country that
is somewhere up there just a bit north of New York state, or Ohio or some other Northern state. As you have friends in Canada I have friends in the States. Governments at one time or another seem to have that unique ability to embarrass their citizens, there are no exceptions to that rule. Now we could tariff and subsidise each other to bits as we cherry pick till the cows come home, finding fault with the other guy because we look for the news that agrees with our opinion. Anyway, hopefully it will all sort itself out. By the way I am an old Geezer, probably the oldest Geezer on this board.
Cheers to all.
