Squeeze Play?

Squeeze Play? The sale of the Kumtor asset would be a great way for the Kyrgyzstan govt to clean sheet the deal on the mine.  Blank out the old agreement completely, dump an aggravating partner, and in effect clean up all the political noise that has surrounded the issue.  Think it has blind sided CG for the moment,  but long run?  They would lose the production from Kumtor, and that would hurt....but they haven’t been able to get the cash out for a bit.I would guess that is what the royalty stream sale  is all about.....raising cash 200M ( I think the sale was necessary, but selling the fosterville stream could turn out to be the mistake of the century) ...the question is.... are the buyers in that tight with the Krygy’s that they can get the Government onside with the deal.  I think I remember that Scott mentioned that Kyrgyz owned 26% of the stock....75 million shares round number.............it would be nice to see that cancelled, and add 400m cash to the kitty from the buyer, and get rid of all the brain damage.  the question is what would you do with 600M in cash and a lot of management time available.......  Scott is a smart cookie....... will be interesting to see how this poker game goes.

Cheers
