Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:Globe says Short Seller Dumping on APH and others
It's not "dumping", it's "dumped". This is an "after the fact stat".

If that stat is accurate, which I question, we have 11.1% shares of assured buyers on APH.  Unlike people on the sidelines who can elect to invest elsewhere, short sellers have to buy Aphria to cover and most short sellers go from short to long.

Sellers are exhausted so unless management, insiders and large holders do something silly at this point, I'm continuing to be bullish here.

Disclosure: I do short sell.  Going between long, short and sidelines "frees" you up in your thinking.

I do agree that large funds should declare both long and short positions and I also agree that anonymous trading should be banned to prevent abuse.

There is nothing wrong with being long or short. What is wrong is manipulating to support your position.
