Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Aphria One facility is nothing short of AMAZING

Aphria One facility is nothing short of AMAZINGI recently was fortunate and received a tour of the Aprhia One Facility.

On first entering, you arrive a newly renovated office area that looks very professional.

The size of the site is staggering.  For those of you from this area I can tell you the property stretches from Talbot street to the Third Concession.

The number and type of workers, machinery and equipment is mind blowing.

To consider that from 44,000 sq feet four years to 1,000,000 now is a magical feat.

With the exception of the first cutting and the trimming of the bud, all other activities will be fully
automated.

Robotic machines plant the first cut, move the plants to the growing area, replant the plants in larger containers and again move them to the final growing area and transfer them to the final trim area.

I was told if there were five people present in the huge growing area it was a mistake, as it did not require that many workers.

All sensitve areas of the operation are controlled by fingerprint technology to enter or to leave.

I can only say after leaving the operation,  I have absolutely no doubts that this company will not only survive but will florish and the techniques that they are using are a first in the industry.

These are knowledgeable people who know what they doing and are constantly working on improving their systems and their plant growing techniques.  Different strains require different growing conditions and different fertilizers and these systems are all computer controlled.

Aphria has a robotic controlled production line that would rival any auto producer in the world
and it was truly enlightening to see it.

They do indeed have a good thing growing.

Stay long.
