Is there a black out period for news which we assume the next news release will be positive as ES buy a lot more, is it 30 days? If news comes out and its a very positive result can an insider buy ahead of such a result?

Silverwhere, did you buy based on ES this week?....no TA would have bought if they trade off positive momo...as the chart shows....so what happens if ES is now done buying who will hold up the stock at $4.30 level?

Apologies, this post dragged on as I was re-listening to various interviews this morning:

There are two large blocks of warrants due to expire in late July to early August.  I suspect shares from warrant exercising has been squeezing down Novo's share price recently, not only the news release that the market read far too negatively.  In the past, impending warrant expiry created a great opportunity to buy and Novo shares subsequently moved up strongly.  Eric Sprott is likely scooping up shares from warrant exercising now as the volume is clearly elevated.  You could say the price isn't moving up with all this buying, or you could say Eric Sprott knew when he would be able to get a good supply of shares.  You can wait for the warrant exercising to be completed when I believe the share price will rise dramatically, or you can buy when they are temporarily depressed now.  Eric Sprott and Kirkland clearly show where they think Novo is going.  When will the bulk of the warrants be exercised?  By the rate ES is picking up shares it could be well before August.  That is not to say Novo won't go for a run even before all the warrants are exercised.

If you believe in the Novo story then buy when they're on sale.  If you don't there's a billionaire scooping up shares at an fast rate so sell now.  Someone posted a comment about Jekyll Island, it reminded me it's amazingly pertinent to the situation this now with Novo.  Eric Sprott said things about mining investments in general like (I paraphrase) "I look for multibaggers, don't buy stocks for 20% gain", "Look at what you have everyday and think about how much more it can go up, try not to get scared out of it", "it was a big mistake of mine to suggest that KL should takeover Newmarket", "see the future early", "there's only one thing missing (with the Novo story) and that's grade", and the best one for now "if you're a big owner and you're buying in market then something is happening"

We can never be certain, but I would much rather follow the moves of a billionaire who is close with QH, a director of the company, and a very successful intermediate mining company than others.  At this stage I'm loaded up on Novo, just waiting for news to flow which I think will lead us to some great gains.  Whether it be 1 week or another year really doesn't matter in the big picture.  Novo COULD be the biggest win for this generation, I have to let this one at least start playing out, it's just started.
