Recently QH stated that we will be hearing more about that in a few months or so for whatever reason. The typical junior would have already touted about nuggets found and what not, bot not Novo. Remember when we got the Purdy's Fake out? They knew how good CW looked but still we didn't HEAR anything about it (which would have negated the big correction since the market assumed it was 0.5m thick all over).
... I think there is a lot of news in the pipeline and a lot of things happening behind the scenes when you take all of the factors above into account.
In the coming two years I expect numerous prospects to have been de-risked by Novo and all the other juniors, and who knows, maybe a junior will already have started some form of production (DEG, ARV, West Wits). Not only that, but I hope Beaton's will be en route or in production by then, and given that that system is still wide open and we have confirmed another hardey target to the north, we should have enough gold to last for decades in that area (hopefully high margin too since it is easily recoverable).
Back to the "proof of concept": The more prospects we de-risk the bigger the potential reward is if/when we show proof of concept at CW/Purdy's. Will the market do nothing if we have say 4 inferred Comet Well size near surface deposits? What if someone does some trial mining and shows that it might be as super high margin as BM and Barron thinks? What if we get an upgraded Bc up and running which will have us self-financed for many years to come?
If 1) we prove this is as big as it looks 2) Show that we could get to production and 3)Show that is high margin, then the implied NPV potential is enormous.
IMHO there is too much binary thinking and too much focus on the resource aspect (which QH has stated shouldn't be a problem), and not enough contemplation in regards to the reward if that hurdle is overcome... We could be talking tens or hundred of millions of ounces which are nears surface (for starters), and if those ounces proves to have the highest value ounces in the biz, then this MC is nothing. Also, let's not forget that possibly the majority of the lower cannonball sequence is "well organized" with avg nugget sizes much lower than the extremely nugget mineralization shown at Purdy's (thus far)... 8 tonnes got us 80 nuggets + fines/finer stuff.
And to top it off we are evaluating if there is finer gold in the sandstones BETWEEN the nuggety sequences, and we have no idea what the mineralization will look where the tuff is thicker and more preserved just 250m down dip.
This story has so many more sides to it than waiting for trial mining at CW IMHO, but the bears focus on ONE aspect all the time, and never even bother to mention/contemplate the potential reward (I guess that is why they are bears?).

Hedgeless,
I have purchased all of your reports. I admire you greatly for what you have accomplished as an amateur geologist. It is truely amazing.
That said, I think you answered the question at hand with your response. This IS ALL, COULDA ,WOULDA, SHOULDA, POSSIBLY, WHAT IF, for all us peons. AFTER ONE YEAR WE HAVE VIRTUALLY
NO HARD DATA on what we have in the ground, it's all speculation. Novo might be more advanced than they were 12 months ago...but the shareholders are not, We are still stuck in the exact same mud puddle. We actually have more questions today than we did 12 months ago. It all comes down to communication, and passing along information, which NOVO IS NOT DOING. So expect this stock to continue declining BIGGLY, until some of those COULD BE'S turn into ARE'S.
Respectfully,
Icarus
