RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Keep your head when all about you are losing theirs..Some may recall The Globe’s Report on Business had a page of WSJ content. Not sure when they dropped it or why they did, but this is the kind of initiative that illustrates how little the publisher understands Toronto Star readers. If you cared about serious business news you would be reading ROB or the Financial Post. International business news from an American publisher with a decidedly conservative perspective is not and never will be the Star’s target market. 

Like the 20 journalists hired for Star Metro out west this is another waste of time, money and resources. It will prove out to be a fraud in the same category as my long list of Torstar failures. At some point the Voting Trust will panic when the cash runs out and rush for the exits.

If the WSJ is part of the transformation this whole scam will end sooner rather than later. Hard to watch it play out, but the end is near.
