RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:I like RothchildishI'm just gonna step in and clarify here.... Bill C-45 does allow for the import of MJ, so long as it is strictly for medical or scientific purpose. Permits are issued on a PER SHIPMENT basis and requires multiple agencies to approve. Basically it's an extremely complicated, costly and beurocratic process to attempt an import, and even if you manage to navigate the system you have to do it on a per shipment basis. They've made it very prohibitive to do it unless you're doing it to study new strains or other scientific purposes that arent so time sensitive.

Rothchildish wrote: You are correct on the fact that the market will be flooded with cheap alternative (
South America, etc.). Permits to import are already given to some companies, if you think 1$/g is cheap, wait until those cheap labor companies produce them at 0.30$/gram.

With unlimited competition and forgeign imports - it's very likely that in 24-36 months a company like THCX will be bankrupt or swallowed up by a larger producer. They're just too limited in terms of market and faclilties. One buyer and one little farm does not make for a bright future.
