Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

RE:RE:Balance Sheet Just Got StrongerThis entire "sell off" is nothing but bullsh*t. Excuse used by traders to push money out of peoples pockets into their own. Once the dust settles and people take a sobre look I think they will appreciate the deal.
They picked up a strong company with very little debt at a very opportunistic price. It changed their metrics considerably and should go a long way to address the debt "fears". Yes there are more shares but there is also a lot more company. If they now spin of some of their assets and throw it towards debt I beleive the market will reward significantly. Will it return to $45.00 a share? Probably not...but $25- $30 - yeah i think so.
Oil is going up(there will be shortfall) - all the posturing aside - Putin and Saud want high oil price - they own Trump - it will happen. Follow the money.
