You need to put a value on Spinco to do a calculation.

Say that 5c of the current 41c of Bonterra is the value of the spin off. That means that the rest of BTR is worth 36c. 1.6 X 36c = 57.6c. MTO current price is 60c, so I would sell mto and buy btr.

If you own 1% of btr when the deal goes through then you will own 1% of spinco. Maybe they will do a roll back.
