Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Massive number of US Investors to coming to Aphria

Massive number of US Investors to coming to Aphria "Adding buds to suds". WIth a market cap of just $2.67B Aphria is cheap and a huge take over target.

1. Government is legalizing marijuana. As of this week, it's no longer an "if". So speculators who "bet" on this happening are being replaced by real investors.  That's what moves stocks in a clear direction. That doesn't mean speculators are gone. In fact, momo traders will jump in hard.

Trading this now becomes more difficult trying to take profits since you're missing a run.  I'm no longer trading this sector for now, I'm buying the dips unless big whales unload. Then I'm out looking for other sectors to put my money in.

2. The alcohol industry leaders are looking at Aphria. That's not speculation, it's real. And it's making US headlines in the financial press. That a far cry from what's been happening in the last few months where this sector was mostly ignored.
