Global Atomic Corp T.GLO

Alternate Symbol(s):  GLATF

Global Atomic Corporation provides a combination of high-grade uranium mine development and zinc concentrate production. It has two principal lines of business: the processing of electric arc furnace dust (EAFD) obtained from steel companies in Turkiye through a Waelz kiln process to recover zinc concentrates that are then treated by zinc smelters (EAFD Business); and the acquisition, exploration and development of uranium properties in Niger (Uranium Business). Its Uranium Division is developing the fully permitted, large, high grade Dasa Deposit. Dasa is a high-grade sandstone-hosted deposit with mineralization across a range of horizons from Jurassic to Carboniferous in age. Its Base Metals Division holds a 49% interest in the Befesa Silvermet Turkey, S.L. (BST) Joint Venture, which operates a modern zinc recycling plant, located in Iskenderun, Turkiye. Its joint venture partner, Befesa Zinc S.A.U. (Befesa) holds a 51% interest in and is the operator of the BST Joint Venture.

RE:it was ridiculous to ever entertain the idea of ....All venture stocks are somewhat risky. No doubt, a mine in Africa adds to the risk but it could also provide significant additional profits.

I originally bought 30 K shares at about 20 cents and sold at 30 cents on May 25th. I sold because there was little movemnet in the price after announcing $6.9 M in NET profits for 2017.
(fortunate to reinvest in RHT at $1.31 on May 29 .... now at $1.88).

Shortly after GLO announced a Net Profit of $3.7 M in 1st Q ... I bought back in.
I continue to be amazed that GLO is still trading at this level.

You won't find another venture stock that made $7 M net earnings in 2017 and another $3.7 M in only the 1st Q of 2018 ... that's trading anywhere near this low.
