TSX is at all time highs and I agree those highs aren't sustainable. 

What you aren't saying is why the TSX is presently at all time highs. 

Lots of things like Fang, Marijuana, oil price hype and even tag along with the US economy are huge factors in this happening. 

As for shorting, I understand why it happens and have a smattering of understanding how to do it. There has to be more to it than just approaching a brokerage to "borrow" stocks/units, selling them instantly to lower the price then purchase them back at a lower price and keep the difference as profit. If that's the case WHY is the shorter responsible for any distributions that are forthcoming before covering the stock/unit. 

A few minutes ago on BNN the tech analyst felt that Crius looked like a buy and that he would purchase it himself at this level. The consesus at the time was 5 buys, 0 sells
