RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Ottawa to legalize outdoor marijuana crops???Oh yes Raguu, you make very valid points, as per usual.
I am originally from BC and am very familiar with their decent/good outdoor/indoor grown weed, and I agree that there will certainly be a market for it. Just as there is still a market for cheap beer, wine and spirits.
However, I firmly believe that the real cash will always be in the high end, most potent strains. And ACB, Canopy etc will target those high end buyers.
Just this last weekend, out at our favorite campsite. we had about 20 or so people around our place as evening rolled around and everybody was trying to one-up the next guy with their LP purchased weed saying "wait till you try mine here"....."Ive got some Odin"...."Ive got some Snow Dome"..... etc etc.
There were even two guys there that had their own indoor home grown weed that they both claimed to be AAA, and they said they had both grown for years and so on, and they couldnt get a single one of us to even TRY it. Zero interest from anyone.
I expect this kind of thing to continue for people smoking flower, and the outdoor grown pot will be used for oils/edibles and sold to the same buyers that buy discount beer/wine.
Just my take on it.
