RE:RE:Today brought biggest Nuclear News of the year so far

RE:RE:Today brought biggest Nuclear News of the year so farLink Leisure you clearly demonstrate your total ignorance of everything related to Uranium. I am hoping that you read the original post incorrectly. So let me spell it out to you to make what Quakes just posted crystal clear to you.

EACH REACTOR IS ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY MEGAWATTS. There are SIX OF THEM. The largest rector in the world is only slightly larger at 1700MW in Flamanville France. The total power output of SIX TIMES 1650MW = NINE THOUSANDE NINE HUNDRED MEGAWATTS. It will the the largest nuclear sire in the world.

As far as your crack pot analogy to wind turbines let us provide you some facts.

At THE AVERAGE SIZE OF WIND TURBINES (2mw) YOU WOULD NEED 10,000/2 = 5000 WIND TURBINES ....THAT IS A BIT MORE THAN 2 OR 3.

And that is assuming the wind blows 100% of the time which is categorically does not. The best wind capacity factyrs are 30% so to produce the same amount of power ALL THE TIME you need not 2 or 3 but 5000/.3 = 16,667

Tiny reactors indeed. What twaddle. Clearly your knowledge of nuclear energy is zero. And you purport to know about this market.? Before you post anything further for goodness sake do your homework.
