RE:Today brought biggest Nuclear News of the year so farThanks Quakes. Great news. Cameco is already supplying India with Uranium to provide a stockpile for them as India has very little Uranium of its own. After Canada agreed the politics CCO went in and signed a contract to build that supply for them. I am thinking that is where some of the Uranium they are buying on the spot market is going.
If the US utilities do not start contracting soon the likes of CCO and others will have sold it all to Chine and India.
That is a massive plant...YUGE far far bigger than anything the USA has.
Thankd for the post.

These six reactors are now set to begin construction by the end of this year, the world's largest nuclear power project finally coming to fruition after nearly 10 years of negotiations. This single power plant will require 15M lbs of U3O8 to start up then 5M lbs per year after that. If the reactors run for their expected lifetime of 60-80 years then they will consume 300-400M lbs U3O8...
2 to 3 Triple R deposits! https://www.thequint.com/hotwire-text/edf-ge-ink-deal-to-build-6-nuclear-reactors-in-jaitapur Dev said last year, I think it was, that India had been knocking on his door looking at possibility to secure an Offtake Agreement for PLS production. As someone posted on Twitter today, the size and scale of this deal will likely lead to India doing just that.. as they will definitely need a massive amount of uranium now that the contracts are signed and the project is a go.
Exciting times!
Good luck to the longs. ;-)
