RE:Seabridge Gold interested in Nevada?

RE:Seabridge Gold interested in Nevada?Seabridge is a very promising and large late-stage developer with outstanding assets in a range of metals. Their projects are very large, requiring gigantic capital expenditures relative to the requirements of the Nevada projects we are talking about. I believe that their best asset, KSM in BC will take in the neighborhood of $1 billion to build out. My take is that Seabridge will have its hands full, and will itself be taken out by one or two large miners with the resources to take KSM into production.

As as long as we are speculating, what about Coer, or Goldcorp?  I mentioned the Alio/Rye Patch combo formed last month, resulting in these quality assets in Nevada and Mexico being further pushed into the extremely cheap level. I think that we need to see a couple of more acquisitions take place, and then higher gold prices take hold, before Waterton would be tempted to sell. Neither Waterton nor Terraco have significant holding costs, so the clock can keep ticking for as long as it takes for this scenario to play out. Hence my earthquake comments from my earlier post.
