RE:RE:Why Takota is concerned For clarification, I have never "recommended" that you take any action around this company. I just try to blog facts and correct wild assumptions, of which there have been many, but I've found it to be a waste of time and now only log in from time to time.
Furthermore, since I have never disclosed my position you have no knowledge of where myself or anyone else has bought, sold, sold short or covered Sherritt shares and therefore don't know the return profile of myself or anyone else that you mention. (Although as I recall now, I think Takota did disclose in a blog a massive return from buying the bonds at distressed prices).
Finally, many people on this board assume the market price is telling them something about the forthcoming fundamentals of the business. If you believe this, than you are saying the market is efficient. If the market is efficient then you have no business trying to beat it by investing in individual names. I myself believe that the market is sometimes inefficient.
