RE:RE:Busy Week behind us and ahead
Yes Haywood probably had an investor that needed to get out ie. fund redemptions, end of quarter, need to shift portfolio to another sector or just has a cash crunch. If they try and drop 2 million shares on the open market it would crush the share price and the float is so small on Corvus that it might not be possible for them to even filter the shares in over a couple of weeks.
Its the same if an investor wants to take a large position in Corvus, it is almost impossible to buy 2 million shares in the open market even if they tried to build this position over a couple of weeks so Haywood and maybe even the IR of Corvus start looking around for someone that wants to take a larger stake in Corvus. With the cross the buyer gets a good deal and the seller gets their price and small investors like us dont have to worry about weak hands crashing the market.
