Glenn R. KellyPresident and Chief Executive Officer

Glenn R. Kelly is an accomplished senior executive with over 25 years of diverse industry experience in operations, technology and business development, and financial and strategic leadership. He has built a solid track record of leading start-ups and turnarounds in high paced environments. Mr. Kelly has played key roles in the development of Qubec’s natural gas industry, notably as founder and President of Intragaz Inc., an underground natural gas storage developer, as well as President of Rabaska Inc., a $1 billion liquefied natural gas terminal project, where he was instrumental in negotiating LNG supply agreements with Russia’s Gazprom. Prior to his career in Qubec, Mr. Kelly, a civil engineer from Queen`s with an MBA from Laval, worked throughout Canada in a variety of engineering and management positions for Chevron Canada Resources.

 

Charles TaschereauVice President and Chief Operating Officer

Charles Taschereau held various senior management positions, including project management mandates, funding responsibilities and process engineering for multinational companies in the resources sector. He has held the positions of CEO of Congo Equipment SARL, a Caterpillar Equipment dealer and COO at Canada Lithium Corporation, where he was responsible for managing the company's feasibility study, financing and subsequent construction of its lithium project in Qubec. He also worked in companies such as IAMGOLD, Gold Fields and Cambior. Mr. Taschereau has a broad educational background, and holds an MSc in mining engineering (metallurgy-Laval), an MBA (Curtin), a GMP (Harvard) and a Master in Sustainability (Cambridge), as well as a Canadian CPA-CMA designation.

 

Jacques BdardVice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer

Jacques Bdard is a senior executive officer with over 25 years of international financial management experience in the high technology, multimedia and medical device sectors. In particular, he has engineered numerous mergers and acquisitions, in addition to ensuring a variety of related financing. He has brought several products and services into production and overseen the Canadian and overseas public offerings of many of the businesses he has worked with. His resum includes terms as Vice-President Finance and CFO for publicly traded companies such as Softimage and ART, and he has also held senior financial management positions with Microsoft, among others. Jacques Bdard is a member of the Ordre des CPA du Qubec. He also holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (accounting) from Universit du Qubec Montral.

 

Genevive MarchandCorporate Secretary and Director Legal Affairs

Genevive Marchand has over 20 years of experience in corporate & commercial law, advising corporations in various fields such as technology, energy and biotechnology. She was previously, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Argex Titanium Inc. a chemical technology company listed on the TSX. She was also a partner at Davies, Ward, Phillips & Vineberg. She holds an LL.M. from the London School of Economics and an LL.B. from Laval University. She is also a member of the Qubec Bar.

 

Hubert DumontDirector Technology Development

Dr. Hubert Dumont, who joined Orbite in 2012, has over 20 years of experience in technology development and project management in the metallurgical, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. At Orbite, he was responsible for establishing and leading the Company`s Technology Development Centre. Prior to Orbite, among others, he worked for Endoceutics, a private bio-pharma company, where he was responsible for late-stage product development. He also worked at Merck Phamaceutical R&D, where he established and led Merck’s Center of Excellence in Pediatric and Geriatric Product Development. Earlier in his career, Dr. Dumont was a key member of the Cameco Technology Development team, where he managed several key projects related to crystallization, mineral processing and F2 generation. A member of the Ordre des Chimistes du Qubec, he holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Universit de Sherbrooke, complemented by a post-doctoral fellowship in molten salt electrochemistry with Prof. Brian E. Conway at University of Ottawa.

 

Philippe Lvesque-GroleauDirector Human Resources

Philippe Lvesque-Groleau has held several senior positions in human resources and labor relations at national and international companies. During a career spanning nearly 20 years, he has worked for Swissport Canada, where he held the position of National Director - Labour Relations, McKesson Canada and Aeroplan (AIMIA), where he headed the human resources departments. In addition to being the author of several articles on human resources, he is a lecturer at the School of Industrial Relations and the Faculty of Continuing Education at the University of Montreal. Mr. Lvesque-Groleau holds a Masters of Industrial Relations from the University of Montreal and a BA in Management from HEC Montreal. He is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agrs and is a member of the professional inspection committee for this organization.
