RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Canopy hasn’t announced anything about a split

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Canopy hasn’t announced anything about a split Pre-death spiral mode? You actually are an idiot. I guess Forbes is 49$ off the mark with their 53$ price estimate. Even if you think this stock is overvalued, how can you short something with so much momentum and growth potential? I suggest that you cover up buttercup! Moose

I'm sure there are a lot of investors that get scared away seeing $48 quickly turn into $36 in less than a week, meanwhile they're see Aurora or Aphria go from $10 to $9 and $13 to $11 which doesn't seem so scary in comparison. Less volatility and a cheaper share price will open us up to many more novice buyers. If I was voting I think I'd likely vote for a 2:1 because again novice investors might not like the share structure of a 3:1 split and might fall victim to the term "dilution" incorrectly. People like Yoda have already demonstrated they don't understand dilution and make the pitiful incorrect assumption that an increase in sharecount automatically implies a decrease in value.

Randomly saw this and have to correct you. A stock split doesn't result in dilution as you'd receive double your shares. But what it does do is puts the nail in the coffin for this company ever paying a decent dividend in the future. Maybe you better educate yourself before posting. My first stock split may have been before you were born. Maybe you can explain how Canopy can ever pay a dividend on 500-600 million shares? GL I was going to lay off here for a while but you've gotten my fire lit again. This thing is in pre death spiral mode. A stock split is a desperate attempt to fool investor that won't fool the institutions that will be dumping shares all over your head as you cringe in a corner saying what have I done yoda was right.
