I tend to agree with you.  Certainly seen a big change on this board over the last 18 months.
Keep the faith.
By the way.....are you in Europe or back on the mainland?   I'm presently in Germany biking my rear end off on a 40 day bike ride.   Now on the Elbe River but have visited Bruges Belgium and Frankfurt to name just  two.   Little tired but check in on our UR whenever I can.
I've put a lot of individuals on ignore......makes it a lot more enjoyable.
