LI prices staying high.

LI prices staying high.Chart of sorts....

% decrease from mid-January highs updated today.  Low is obviously better.

ajm.jpg

* Lithium stock mean decrease highest record so far (sector at its lowest point since Jan)
* At least 30% average price drop across the board.  For AJM, that would put it at 40c.
* IMO, some serious buying opportunities out there as producers are still getting record offtake prices.  A sector turn around can't be far away.  Goldman Sachs out today stating likely no oversupply and market is oversold.  Some announcement quotes of the high prices producers are getting....

'prices remain significantly elevated on a year-on-year (“YoY”) basis (c.+21% for lithium carbonate, c.+5% for lithium hydroxide in China)' - GXY

'Record price received of US$13,533/tonne on a free on board basis (FOB), up 17% quarter on quarter (QoQ)
'Prices for the June quarter 2018 are expected to be higher than in the March 2018 quarter'  - ORE

'The market price for 6% spodumene was $USD900 per tonne...during the current quarter with the prices increasing by 6.8% to $USD960...from April 2018' - MIN

More recently form the ORE release on the 2nd of July 2018,

'Sales were 3,496 tonnes with a record realised average price of US$13,611 per tonne on a FOB basis which resulted in record quarterly sales revenue of US$47.6 million'
'...sales were 12,080 tonnes and the average price received for 2018 was a new high of US$12,586/tonne, up 29%' -ORE

Patience grasshopper :)
