Calgary_AB wrote: I'm not sure how you got the impression I said a recession already started, I clearly said "it will take some time to enter and who knows how long to exit". The true question is not "If" but "When"...we all know the markets are at their peaks and gravity always wins and with all the problems sparking all over the place it's a perfect storm...
the runaway inflation is something that you know it's coming but don't know when...economists and the FED will never give you heads up, it is your responsibility to look after your own money and their job is to make you lose it.
Here is a small list of signs for possible inflation: Markets at their highest, Interest rising, Oil price up and rising, food prices up and rising, minimal pay increases, money printing accelerated, debt rising, Credit card debt rising, baby boomers retiring at fast pace, people live longer than expected therefore more money needed for pensions and Medicare, student loans at their highest….I can list a few pages of signs if you want.
As far as NMX current price, bottom line is the dilution and management. The future can be bright but not for sure and that’s why people are not jumping on it…you may say people should be jumping on it (based on your view) but based on my view people should hold just yet and see what happens, there is time to jump on it…SP is a reflection of what the overall sentiment is, regardless what you and I think and if I was compleatley wrong on my thinking the SP would be $1.50 now but a lot of investors think the way I do...and to your point many think the way you do as well otherwise the SP would be 0.50 (if everyone thought the same way as me) so the medium is between 0.80 to lets say 1.00

'I'd say we are entering a recession'. Gives me the impression, in your opinion it has already started.
Recessions are not good for most companies, but if you are a low cost producer in your particular field, then it can delay, mothball and shut down competition.
Building during a recession is not necessarily a bad thing (if it happens) i.e. cheap labour comes to mind.
Run away inflation hitting in the next year is extremely unlikely, and you would have expected NMX to have already ordered most big ticket items with fixed prices.

NMX being a low cost producer is the biggest sellig point for me, and if you are going to invest in LI, this project is a 'gimme'...... ;-)

Calgary_AB wrote: How do you interpret this part of my post? “some may argue but I'd say we are entering a recession that will take some time to enter and then who knows how long to exit”
Do you read it as I said tomorrow will be recession?
So you agree people are talking about a recession? maybe even mid 2019??? do you think that will be good for NMX?
If you think ahead more than tomorrow or next week, do you invest long term in a company that is building during a recession? what happens if a runaway inflation hits in the next year? would NMX have to go borrow more to finish building? is that a risk?

mick1888 wrote: To be honest, I am not sure how you come to the conclusion of an imminent recession?

Some rogue economists are saying there is a potential for the start of a recession by the end of 2018, but the vast majority forcast at the earliest 2019 (even this flies in the face of Trump Tax concessions which stimulate the US economy). So how this would have any relevance to the current (and short term) NMX sp is beyond me (please explain).

To be clear, an official recession can only be confirmed after two successive Quarters of negative growth, which as far as I am aware no major global economy is anywhere near? Again, based on this fact, what impact on current NMX sp?

In addition, Trump will not have the US in recession pre 2020 re-election, so a full blown trade war (for any length of time) will most likely NOT happen.

Calgary_AB wrote: If you read my posts without rose glasses on and if you actually gave it a consideration rather than jumping up and down like baboons, maybe it wouldn't be such surprise and wouldn't expect it to do anything for a while, some may argue but I'd say we are entering a recession that will take some time to enter and then who knows how long to exit...during this time LI stocks will suffer.
You all jumping up and down and post links to the beutiful Li potential, at the end of the day SP will show who is right just like it showed so far...at least before it was a good trading stock, now it will be frustrating for a long period of time and not even good for trading...

All Baboon replies welcome.

Good thinking Calgary_AB, Thanks
