RE:Everybody else would be in jail!Unfortunately, the rule of law seems to be losing it's force in America. Some of the problem stems from pure ignorance on Trump's part. He doesn't know anything about norms and standards. He rules by instinct. And his instincts are to benefit himself, his family and his associates while appeasing the prejudices of his base. More and more America is coming to resemble a newly minted third world kleptocracy which is
called a democracy but really isn't. He issues policy directives that violate existing laws. When this is pointed out he refuses to correct his mistakes unless ordered to do so by the courts or if the pr is so bad he fears it will influence his base. Outright corruption is slowly becoming an accepted practice. The emperor is dragging America back to pre-democratic third world norms.
