It also has an undeveloped Charlie Lake asset that is prospective for light oil in Bonanza, Alberta. The Company has over 116 net sections of contiguous land in the light oil prone Charlie Lake.

RE:Pure speculationBenny, like your thoughts and appreciate the information. I had put in some work to figure out the comparative holdings in the space a month or two ago, and looked at OBE but didn;t get much into arc. Really appreciate those points. 

How would you see the acquisition being structured? While I like the idea of gaining controlling interest in the area, if this occured without enough time to lower the debt, i think the premium on equity in light of the recent SPE and RRX transactions would be stiff. That's if ARC would even give it up for equity, and again.. everyone saw the RRX show for BTE equity. They'd want cash in this environment i'd think.. and for now i'd rather BNE hold onto it. They might end up paying more later, but the risk premium doing it in the short term i would suspect outweight that appreciation? what would you think?
