RE:John Kaiser new youtube

RE:John Kaiser new youtubeeasy,
Thanks for posting the link. Listened to the ~11min audio between the host and Kaiser who did not really have anything new to say about the situation. He gave a general history about this saga, which by now everyone is aware of. He did not seem to carry out any in-depth research for drawing some general conclusion that "minority shareholders" are "losers" in the end, regardless of the outcome of the Special Meeting.

Just one nagging question: If this saga/pre-meditated deal is supposed to be good for the "majority shareholders" since, in the end, they could convert their AZX shares into shares of a take-over company (e.g. PRB), can the "minority shareholders" just ride on their coattails and do the same? (assuming, the minority shareholders have not sold out their holdings prematurely).

May be I missed something, but did Kaiser give some hint who he would expect to win this proxy fight, Management or EO?

At least, I would expect him to shed some lights on the positions of some major shareholders, such as AEM (8%), Teck (2%), IMG(2%), and some funds that hold ~2% level. (We already knew that ES has 7% plus Sprott Inc. at over 3%, and they have voted in favour of management). That kind of analysis would be useful, in my view. Picking numbers off the air is easy, and anyone can speculate.

It's my impression that Kaiser did not spend enough time on this case, but he felt obligated to say something.
