Seems really strange, especially when he is aggressively promoting things that are obviously false.  How can ther be nothing there, when they closed on a $25.6 million financing?

My only guess is that he may be trying to accumulate at lower prices.

According to latest press release, Aldershot raised $25.6 million including an aggregate investment of $4.44 million by Canopy Rivers Corporation and Green Acre Capital .
With these companies being associated with the likes of Canopy Growth and Brett Wilson, I have to think there is something substantial here.
Companies and people like this don't get involved unless there is real substance.
Plus $25.6 million doesn't get raised based on nothing.

Not to mention, insiders took down over 93 million shares, or nearly $5 million dollars of the financing. Check out SEDI.ca.  And that is only the position that the insiders have to report on SEDI.  I wouldn't be surprised of other management, family, and close friends and busienss associates took down even more.
