My wife has been prescribed cannabis for 2 1/2 years now and about 1 year for myself.
The doctor process took about 5 months to get started though.  If you can acquire oils in a timely fashion, my dosage is as follows;

Early morning- 1.0 ml of high CBD oil

Mid day-  1.0 ml of CBD/THC oil

Evening-  0.5 ml of high THC oil

Allieves my arthritis, I am back to full workouts again, if I feel a little arthritis I take an extra 1.0 ml of high CBD and then all good.
The high THC oil makes me sleep great (do not drive on it).

Vaping bud can give immediate relief but the oils work better at actually eliminating pain.  Vaping will take your mind off of the pain though.

Good luck on sourcing supply!  Find a friend..........I gave my buddy some oil and it worked great for his arthritis.........he now has a script with Aphria........he went through a clinic in Waterloo.
