Aeroplan Promise: Beginning of a New Aeroplan? Or New Scam?

Aeroplan Promise: Beginning of a New Aeroplan? Or New Scam?
Consumer Behaviour 101 and Aeroplan's deactivation policy would result in Aeroplan members feelings of "good riddence to Aeroplan"

Is that what Aeroplan wants?

Is that really the best long term business strategy for Aeroplan?

Is this part of the new Aeroplan "Promise"?

justbull4u wrote: Well, with Aeroplan's "deactivation" policy after 12 months of inactivity, eventually all exisiting 5 million Aeroplan members will be deactivated within the next 2 years.

Once the Aeroplan members lose their points...they will be very upset...sign up for competitor loyalty programs instead...and they will say/feel...

Good riddence to Aeroplan.
