Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Strategically Screwing the Shorts

Strategically Screwing the Shorts
So, I dont know if there is anything to this, but I have seen the posts on here in the past about placing Limit Orders on your shares so that they become unavailable for a short seller to purchase to cover their short trade when required.

Strategically, I released my Sell Limit Order on all my shares yesterday when the share price was down to lure these short sellers into thinking there will be plenty of shares to purchase when required, so they might take a short position against APH.

Now today, I have reinstated a Sell Limit Order on all my shares. When a shorter needs to buy back shares to cover their position there will be less shares available as they are now allocated to my Limit Order, so they will be forced to pay a higher price.

I know that a few tens of thousands of shares for this transaction means nothing overall, but at least I feel good about screwing them and can feel I am making a difference. Actively protecting share value while holding long.
