Claritas Pharmaceuticals, Inc., formerly Kalytera Therapeutics Inc, is a biotechnology company that is focused on developing R-107 for the treatment of vaccine-resistant coronavirus disease (COVID) strains. The CLA-1816 provides effective pain reduction, without the risks of addiction or respiratory suppression that exist with opioid analgesics. CLA-1816 strongly binds with and activates the alpha3 glycine pain receptor in the spine. The Company has leased a laboratory, office, and archival space in Beverly, Massachusetts.

This very well could be a dud - however, I think the time horizon being considered for many on this is much shorter than a typical pharma play (for all intents and purposes) may require. I think it's pretty easy to tell that there's potential for this product, but for companies that are taking the 'FDA-approved specialized product' route as opposed to the commoditized 'near-medicine' CBD route, there needs to be patience. Without a continuous flow of news events to bolster the share price in the interim, patience will likely come at a price, so I wouldn't hop in if I wasn't ready to be along for a bit of a ride.
