RE:from your posted article......Don't go looking for loopholes (i.e. exceptions) to defend the fraud occuring at Aimia/Aeroplan.

"Deactivating" Aeroplan members accounts for "inactivity" seems like a clear attempt to circumvent the intention of the law in Ontario.

Deleting/expiring/deactivitating points/accounts after 12 months is a better and faster fraud than having to wait 7 years.
