Yes, precisely why the Amulsar project sounds like a complete joke! Damage to the evironment and people's health will be far larger, possibly running in billions, or rather much shorter life spam for the population, since the country can't afford to spend billions. The place which boasts as a unique tourist spot will turn into a ghost zone during and after the godlmine finishes its work. And the 700 jobs are low paid jobs which also will disappear in 10 years. I call this nothing short of raping the country and the population. Only people with twisted minds could allow the goldmine to work.

And as a reminder every day new very disturbing facts are uncovered about the previous government that gave the green light. The ex-head's newphew was the drug king, who also tortured people; gags helped with unlawful elections, and that's the "government" that allowed Lydian to start their operations. This is just a nightmare. Any respectable investor with any moral values would stay away from this stench.
