RE:Alluvial diamonds around Karowe?

RE:Alluvial diamonds around Karowe?
It has long been thought that there must be huge trail of alluvial or eluvial diamonds that came from the Orapa kimberlites.

The reason for thinking so is that there has been as much as 100 metres of vertical erosion over the entire area.

No diamonds of an alluvial nature have ever been found that come from Orapa, so the search continues for paleo river courses and plunge pools that are now hidden underground by aeons of geomorphology.

This not only apples to Karowe, of course, but to the massive Orapa mine (AK1) as well.

Somewhere there is a mother lode.
