Satellos Bioscience Inc. is a Canada-based biotechnology company. It's an antifungal. It treats Aspergillosis infection, which is a serious and deadly infection. Treatment for this can take upwards to 11 months.
Furthermore, there are other indications for amphoteracin B. And to get approval for these indications (ie. other microbes), they have to test it for those microbes as well.
