RE:Ontario Rec/why I bought WEED here... I want Canopy to go bigger - actually use the recent Hiku / Tokyo Smoke acquisition to offer not just Canopy's products but all the other products that the competition offers. From vapes to diff. strains to later next year edibles / drinkables and so on.
Bruce is a smart cookie. He did pay a premium to scoop up the Hiku ip from the competition.
So now I want to see him revamp the entire physical Tweed Mainstreet stores nation wide and offer much more than just Canopy's products in an up scale Store front.
The clusterf@ck that is Ontario's locked down unworkable stores need to go. I hope Dougie does it right and open things up along side online sales.

We have seen the following headlines this week:
Doug Ford's decision is imminent Ontario freezes leasing for new Pot stores The writing is on the wall that at a minumum Ontario we roll out a hybrid retail scheme involving both public and Provincially run stores.
There is no company better capitalized and positioned to take advantage of this major shift in policy than $WEED. Knowing Bruce I would expect him to announce within days that they will be opening 100 Tweed Main Street stores which will only sell Canopy and their craft grow partners product. Sitting on close to billion dollars and making all the partnerships they've made to date set them up beautifully here. I believe this will be a major development once the mkt connects the dots, hence backing up the truck here even though I don't like the chart at all.
