While the smiles and handshakes at their meetings seem all luvvy duvvy President Trump and PM Trudeau are not even on the same page with NAFTA.You have to appreciate that President Trumps brother died of a drug overdose so legalizing a drug...however benign it appears to be will not put Mr.Trudeau on President Trumps list of favourite people. So I fully expect Canadian miners to be included in the tariffs or whatever mechanism the US Department of Commerce chooses to use. Good thing is there are lots of other customers out there. Also CCO owns mines in Wyoming and Nebraska so will likely come out of this quite well.
I would be looking to Aussie miners who can ramp up production fast...DYL and PDN come to mind. CDN miners will come along afterwards...2020 (late) is my guess.
