RE:RE:Class Action Hope Growing

RE:RE:Class Action Hope GrowingHey Mates,

It amazes me that there are still some MPV shareholders (excluding of course those KDI types who were giddy about the DD dominated BOD agreeing to buy spec explorer KDI for ~ $3.10 a share) who cringe at the increasing possibility of MPV being in the cross-hairs of a potential Class Action lawsuit.  I'm disappointed, but not surprised by comments like "...give it up." or "complete waste of time" or <there was> "real logic in acquiring KDI.."

That's unfortunate, since the purpose of a class action is to right alleged wrongs that have been committed by companies, individuals, or other entities, against a group who have suffered the same (or similar) "injuries" or losses.  That can include "opportunity losses".

If many of us who were shareholders when MPV was in the $6 - $7 range had been aware of what lay ahead, we'd have likely been long gone. However at the time we all thought MPV was a solid investment, especially with PE at the helm.

And again, to be factual, for those who may be afraid of moving on this front I cite, as some of the more common class actions that are either in progress or have been settled:

  • De Beers Diamonds
  • Eastman Kodak
  • Facebook inc.
  • NASDAQ Market Makers
  • Lundin Mining
  • Barrick Gold Corporation
.... to name a few.

Time will tell where we go from here. I'm an optimist!

Cheers,

Brit
