It also has an undeveloped Charlie Lake asset that is prospective for light oil in Bonanza, Alberta. The Company has over 116 net sections of contiguous land in the light oil prone Charlie Lake.

The market value for the short position here is 36-40 million, depedning where you want to say it was initiated on avergae price. I have worked that back to be in the low to mid 16's. So this is far more than just George, if he was hedging his whole 12mm face.  

But regardless, even if George was in fact hedging his debt through equity, the position timing doesn't line up with the loan inception vs the huge % age jumps in SI. The short position used to be only approx 15-20% of that at the beginning of 2017. Gf's loan has been on the books for a few years now.
