RE:US yardI thought it was an odd thing to buy as well.  Interestingly though, Hamir at CIBC seems to like it. This was from the last report.  Maybe not as bad as I thought if they bought it on the cheap?

and processing center in Arlington, WA (acquired in January for only
$12MM vs. likely $50MM cost of a comparable facility in greater
Vancouver). Once ongoing capital upgrades are completed by yearend
(~US$10MM investment), Western will be able to increase
production of targeted specialty products next year and benefit from
lower duty costs. The 18-acre site is close to the key I-5 corridor and
has a rail spur on site serviced by BNSF."
