I don't have time to do any detailed research on metalsus but from what I can see their technology is just for taking dissolved metals out of solution. It appears they started by treating waste water or toxic waste to remove contaminants (lead, arsenic etc.). 

It is very likely that their columns would be effective at recovering the silver from the leach solution but first they need to get there through grinding and leaching (with cyanide,thiosulfate, acid or a potentially more environmentally friendly but likely more costly new alternative).

Their technology would only replace a portion of the process plant mentioned above.
