I cannot answer your question specifically but I do know that these companies often contract with third parties not necessarily related to the companies themselves. Also, slip-ups occur for we are all only human and balls got dropped. That is really the best answer I can give you but I do not see malfeasance in this situation. Thank you for your wishes and my hope is as yours, that we prosper either by discovery of increasing amounts of gold or assumption of the company at a fair price. The old saying, "things are darker before the dawn" very much applies to junior golds. Just when everything seems to be going down the drain, the sun comes up and all is now light.
