Info

InfoGot a reply from my local hospital concerning the VP4.
They appear to be quite familiar with it as apparently one other hospital in my area apparently installed 2 in 2015 but were not using it citing costs etc.
Also knew that the earlier models tended to noticeably shorten the useful life of endoscopes until TOS changed the chemical process
Further they said that they had been in contact with Getinge and there are very few in use and that most were in Quebec and they have had problems gaining market share.
In other words no my local institution cannot sterilize long complex scopes yet.
I would like to know if anyone has a firm number of the VP4's installed and operational in BC where I understood there were around 6 in use.
Appreciate any feed back. Thanks
