RE:Hey Pierre Lassonde-are you proud of yourself

RE:Hey Pierre Lassonde-are you proud of yourselfI feel the same way. I have also had it with miners, but I have a bit different reasons for shunning this sector. Commodity prices have not kept up with the costs of new mine construction in the free world, and it seems to me that unless you have a legacy project, by the time you find a good deposit that is not in the middle of nowhere, get all the environmental permitting, source the machinery, pay for the construction and then get it running properly, you have tied up enormous sums of money for years. Couple that with all the crooks and liars that inhabit the industry, add on the cyclical nature of commodities and one has little chance of getting a fair shake at making money. I respect the people that do the actual work, it can be hard, dangerous work, but I have had it with the industry itself...
