RE:RE:RE:SPLIT shareholders will be notified by way of press releaseSomeone needs a good kick to the crotch for this.
Looks like there might have been two different voting proxies sent out or the physical mailed one differs from the official online one. The one I received states the following:
"2. To pass a special resolution, the full text of which is set out in Schedule "C" to the Circular, ammending the Corporation's Articles of Incorporation to divide the issued and outstanding common shares of the Corporation
on a two-for-one basis, as more fully described in ther section of ther Circular entitled "Particulars of Matters to be Acted Upon - 2. Stock Split."
However, checking
www.sedar.com the 2 for 1 along with the possible 3 for 1 is mentioned:
The specific file is (not sure if the formatting will come out:)
Item 2 full text is as follows:
"2. To consider, and, if deemed advisable, pass a special resolution, the full text of which is set out in Schedule “C” to the Circular, amending the Corporation’s Articles of Incorporation to divide the number of issued and outstanding common shares of the Corporation
on the basis of a range between two-for-one and three-for-one, at the discretion of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, as more fully described in the section of the Circular entitled “Particulars of Matters to be Acted Upon –2. Stock Split."
Anyway - it's at managements descretion at this point, the vote has already passed.
I want a 2 for 1 split - but understand the need to go with a 3 for 1.
Investors are a fickle lot... the illusion of cheaper shares is what will tickle some of them and get them to go lookit .. cheeep shares!! Let me load the hell right up!!
Which is fine by me in the long run.
