Those who disagree can go pound sand.

Those who disagree can go pound sand. It is amply apparent that political tensions are running high, even to the point where otherwise responsible persons recoil from any mention of government policy impacting the economy or financial markets. This is just plain stupid! What moron on this board doesn't understand that cancelling trade agreements, attacking our trading partners, ballooning the deficit, and imposing trade choking tariffs doesn't and won't have a detrimental effect upon the economy - or the price of copper. It's Dr. Copper, remember? What happens to the economy happens to copper and also happens to Nevada Copper as well. I have posted my concerns of the impact of uncertainty upon the markets, and that IMO Trump's behavior and policies have been instrumental in creating. We have noted periods of exceptional volatility in the stock market, we have noted that volatility is an indicator of growing economic unease, and we have seen basic materials, particularity copper, take historic drops. Who thinks all this is happening in a vacuum?

It also seems that if we dare criticize the Trump administration's economic policies even while relating them to their effect upon the economy (criticizing Obama for 8 years was OK!) exposes one to rude insults and unfair, inaccurate false equivalency. Trolls, who have had an antagonistic attitude since joining the board even stoop to misrepresentation and scorn , i.e. "a bit confused about public mining companies and was fixated on some strange assumptions about what a bullboard is for ...But wasn't Stokpiker the one who felt compelled to remind me that message boards are for the expression of opinion? Yes, it was, "if you don't want rumor/opinions why are you patrolling a bullboard, posts/discussion aren't supposed to always be factual, proven or agreeing with everyones (sic) view ..."

Now it appears that according to stokpiker only those opinions with which he agrees are acceptable. If someone wishes to dispute my opinion or views, let them produce a fact based, countering argument, not simply slime individuals with whom they disagree. Allow me to repeat: I do not, and will not, apologize to anyone who is unable to associate government policies with business activity or understand their important relationships. My purpose is not to instruct Econ. 101 to people who should have learned much of this years ago. All their whining and complaining suggests that if they aren't bright enough to get it the first time, why would we expect them to understand it now?

OK, so that's what you want this board to become? A constant trading of insults and personal attacks? Let me be clear if I am attacked I reserve the right to defend myself and my views. If you don't like it, too bad. I believe that message boards are best used for the exchange of information and opinion. Those who disagree can go pound sand.
